About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate all internal communication activities across the NZT/NEP projects.
  • Ensure consistent, accurate, and engaging messaging across all contractor organisations.
  • Strengthen alignment on project charter behaviours.
  • Support culture-building initiatives.
  • Work closely with the project management team to develop internal communication materials including emails, project updates and milestones.
  • Organise internal events including project town halls.
  • Maintain high levels of engagement and visibility of progress.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in internal communications, stakeholder engagement, or corporate communications in a major project or industrial environment.
  • Experience working in multi‑contractor or multi‑stakeholder environments, ideally within energy, construction, infrastructure, or similar sectors.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.
  • Experience developing communication plans, engagement materials, and/or campaign content.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, logistics, and production workflows.
  • Experience coordinating events or engagement activities across distributed sites preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Creative design experience using WHAT to develop internal materials.
  • Proactive, collaborative working style with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality communication materials.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, charters, and inclusive team culture.
