About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate all internal communication activities across the NZT/NEP projects.
Ensure consistent, accurate, and engaging messaging across all contractor organisations.
Strengthen alignment on project charter behaviours.
Support culture-building initiatives.
Work closely with the project management team to develop internal communication materials including emails, project updates and milestones.
Organise internal events including project town halls.
Maintain high levels of engagement and visibility of progress.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience in internal communications, stakeholder engagement, or corporate communications in a major project or industrial environment.
Experience working in multi‑contractor or multi‑stakeholder environments, ideally within energy, construction, infrastructure, or similar sectors.
Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.
Experience developing communication plans, engagement materials, and/or campaign content.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, logistics, and production workflows.
Experience coordinating events or engagement activities across distributed sites preferred.
Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Creative design experience using WHAT to develop internal materials.
Proactive, collaborative working style with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality communication materials.
Demonstrated commitment to safety, charters, and inclusive team culture.
