About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee engineering design, process optimization, and technical standards for gas plants.
- Provide technical guidance on projects and pursuits.
- Identify opportunities for technical and project execution efficiency improvements and implement those opportunities.
- Collaborate with clients, internal teams, vendors, and fabricator/constructors to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Mentor and develop engineering teams to maintain technical excellence.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Canadian gas processing and gas facilities engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Extensive experience in the design, operation and/or maintenance of gas plants
- Proven technical leadership experience in senior technical or leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of Western Canadian regulatory frameworks and industry standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Currently registered or eligible for registration with APEGA
- Experience in other gas facilities including compression and gathering systems (Desirable)
- Registration with EGBC considered an asset (Desirable)
- Strong client-facing and business development experience (Desirable)
