About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- This role involves comprehensive geotechnical expertise across offshore and onshore environments.
- It includes analysing soil-pipe interactions for various seabed conditions like sand, clay, and silt, and designing foundations for subsea structures using mud mats or piles, with seismic considerations.
- Additionally, the position demands strong capabilities in geohazard assessment, including desk studies, geological interpretation of geophysical data, and site reconnaissance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduated from an accredited university with a degree in Geotechnical, Civil or Geological Engineering (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in civil, geotechnical or related experience in design of marine/offshore systems
- Experience with design and construction of offshore pipeline, subsea structure and cable projects
- Experience with design and construction of general marine projects
- Experience managing/working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting
