About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the development and delivery of proposals, expressions of interest, pre-qualifications, and other customer responses for assigned opportunities, in accordance with approved win strategies and governance processes.
- Accountable for end-to-end proposal execution on allocated pursuits, coordinating contributors, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, and delivering high-quality submissions on time.
- Timely submission of compliant, high-quality proposals
- Effective coordination of proposal contributors and inputs
- Consistent application of proposal processes and best practice
- Alignment with agreed win themes and value propositions
- Coordinate / Facilitate Win Planning Process
- Manage end-to-end development of proposals, EOIs, pre-qualifications and presentations
- Interpret customer requirements and evaluation criteria and ensure full compliance
- Develop and manage proposal plans, schedules and review cycles
- Coordinate inputs from SMEs, commercial, estimating, legal and functional contributors
- Write, edit and quality-check proposal content as required
- Identify proposal risks, issues and gaps and escalate where required
- Coordinate proposal reviews, approvals and final submission activities
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to boilerplate content and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with Wood Code of Business Conduct and mandatory procedures
- Facilitate internal post tender reviews
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university required in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related majors preferred
- Technical and/or engineering experience preferred but not required
- Understanding of oil and gas, or mining and metals industry preferred but not required
- Ability to manage projects, interface with customer representatives, interpret customer/stakeholder requirements, manage customer/stakeholder expectations
- Plan workload, organise bid team resources and deliver on agreed deadlines
- Strong proofreading, editing and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to interpret technical content and re-phrase for readability and alignment with strategic messaging.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
