Collecting, integrating, and analysing data from multiple delivery systems
Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and supporting analytics assets using Microsoft Power BI and related tools
Collaborating with project teams to improve understanding of project performance across various functions
Developing technical capability, domain knowledge, and professional confidence over time

Requirements

What you’ll need

**Expected:**
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in a data-oriented field like Software Engineering, Statistics, or Computer Science and / or a qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Process engineering is preferred but not essential
- Industry experience demonstrating results within the function
- Understanding of how engineering projects are conducted is essential, in particular how data plays a part in driving project delivery and solving the problems of project managers, project controls and engineering teams on a day-to-day basis
- Proven application of skills and ability to design effective reports or dashboards to help drive the delivery of project teams, and inform data driven decision making
- Strong experience in Microsoft Power BI, including Power BI Dataflows and PL-300 Certification
- Experience in Microsoft Fabric
- Understanding of data modelling best practices e.g. normalisation, schematisation
- Understanding of software development practices
- Understanding of software development methodologies e.g. Scrum, Kanban
- Strong experience in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in Microsoft Power Apps
- Experience in Microsoft Power Automate, including Power Automate Desktop
- Experience in Microsoft Dataverse
- Experience in Microsoft SharePoint, in particular creating and maintaining SharePoint Lists and Document Libraries.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organisation including experience of communicating technical information to a non-technical audience
- Able to generate trust and credibility with audiences through continuous, open and consistent communication
- Champion change initiatives, focused on improving quality and effectiveness
- Work effectively across different cultures, driving a global mind-set
- Foster a customer-focused climate that delivers on expectations and strengthens relationships
