About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the engineering execution of concurrent multi-discipline brownfield projects in alignment with the engineering scope of work and basis for design
- Coordinating and completing the various engineering and execution support activities to the respective HSSE, quality, schedule, and budget performance goals
- Managing and leading, supporting and supervising the discipline engineering teams on the assigned scope(s) of work
- Management of key stakeholders in the execution and delivery of contracted activities
- Undertaking the role of process owner
- Driving technical assurance on the assigned scope(s) of work
- Consulting and negotiating with clients to prepare specifications, explain proposals and present engineering reports and findings
Requirements
What you’ll need- ISCED Level 6 Bachelor’s (minimum) degree or Level 7 Masters (preferred) in an engineering discipline
- Chartered Engineer/Registered Professional Engineer or equivalent with recognised professional body
- Typically requires 10+ years progressive experience in discipline engineering
- Balance of technical and management experience at relevant level and position
- Typically requires several years of supervisory experience with an understanding of human relations, training, performance evaluation and health and safety
- Broad and extensive knowledge of engineering theories and techniques and a high level of skill in application of this knowledge in the management of the engineering function
- Able to implement and embed standards and processes to effect delivery of engineering excellence
- Current knowledge of industry and technology development within area of expertise
- Expert in Engineering excellence
- Good Project management skills.
