About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide responsive technical engineering advice and service to Operational and Functional Teams
Perform administrative tasks in an effective manner to contribute to Asset goals
Participate in Engineering activities ensuring safety and efficiency according to business plans
Ensure compliance with technical standards and operating procedures
Manage costs and contracts performance
Provide technical leadership to technician groups
Develop and implement equipment modifications for onshore and offshore
Capture opportunities for new technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry or similar Heavy Industrial environment
Strong technical knowledge and proven design, construction, commissioning and operational experience of rotating equipment, power generation and lifting equipment
Knowledge of British and European Technical Standards applicable to Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment
Degree in relevant Engineering Discipline
Chartered Member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers
Familiar and previous experience with project management principles and fundamentals
Available to undertake HUET and BOSIET Certification
Understanding of Risk Assessment
Awareness on Safety Case and Bowties approach on Major Accident Hazards
