About the role
- Oversees all aspects of the assigned work packages within a project in close coordination with discipline specialists
- Ensure erection is performed following WOOD erection and vendors manuals
- Assist with the checking of WOOD materials and equipment supplied for the project
- Solving client/erection contractor doubts and questions about them
- Clarify any deviations found out and assist the client/erection contractor in follow up to resolve any deficiencies
- Advise the client/erection contractor regarding storage requirements for materials and equipment
- Provide assistance with interpretation of engineering drawings for erection
- Assist the client/erection contractor in following up with any technical issues with supplied WOOD engineering documentation and materials
- Provide technical assistance regarding erection and installation of materials and equipment
- Advise if WOOD materials, equipment, devices etc. are not installed in accordance to project requirements
- Advise in written format of any incidents or non-conformances in erection
- Participate in site walk down and punch listing activities prior to completion of erection
- Ensure all HSSE requirements are met
- Attend and represent WOOD in site meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, preferable Mechanical, Energy, or similar
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Fluent level of written and oral English (C certification preferable)
- Spanish at native level
- Microsoft office proficiency
- Understands Technical work scopes, key dates and milestones
- Understands and knows how to apply the procedures and work practices which define and govern Engineering Management and Project Engineering deliverables
- Understands the importance of Project Engineering deliverables and the need for accuracy and timely issue
- Commercially astute and aware of the importance of Change control
- Good knowledge of standards, procedures and work practices; follows project execution flow chart; developing skills in project and technical execution.
- Holding a valid permit to live and work in Spain is required
