Engineer

• Provide functional safety lifecycle management responsibility to ensure project compliance with client and Wood Functional Safety specifications and applicable code requirements and national/international standards
• Serve as the project focal point on functional safety for project definition, development, and execution
• Generate or review key functional safety documents including Functional Safety Plan, Functional Safety Management Procedures, Safety Requirement Specifications, SIS Impact Analysis, SIL Calculations, Emergency Depressurization & Blowdown Specifications, SIL Verification and Validation Procedures
• Manage functional safety assessments, audits, security risk assessments and independent verification of lifecycle deliverables
• Utilise exSILentia software for managing functional safety lifecycle activities
• Track and control project manhours for functional safety activities
• Conduct SIS verification and validation reviews according to project standards
• Oversee integration of safety systems and ensure project compliance with IEC 61511
• Ensure operator is supplied with the required documentation to allow the systems to be operated and maintained properly
• Participate as functional safety expert in HAZOP / CHAZOP activities
• Participate in Deterministic SIL Workshops as C&I Engineer
• Develop, review and approve SIS Proof Test Procedures for end-to-end testing of SIF Loops
• Coordinate with other disciplines in the preparation and development of the functional safety deliverables and ensure that other disciplines' input is incorporated
