About the role
- Implement strategy for growth, support business development activities through client engagement
- Lead a team locally, including advising on proposed execution plans and deliverables and managing team utilization
- Generate demand for consulting services and drive profitable growth by staying connected to current and prospective clients
- Establish strong global relationships with colleagues across Wood to foster visibility, collaboration and internal demand for team capabilities
- Provide thought leadership and industry engagement via conference presentations and webinars
- Build robust team capabilities, including appropriate succession and development planning
- Create an organizational culture that fosters innovation and collaboration, continuous improvement, and change
- Prioritize 40% of time on client engagement, identifying and acquiring new opportunities and 60% of the time on project delivery and execution activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or Chemicals-related discipline required, Master’s degree an asset
- 10+ years of experience working in the Process and Chemicals consulting space
- 16+ years of relevant work experience in Process and Chemicals markets
- Strong ability to mentor team members, provide feedback, and guide professional development
- Strong interest and ability to network and find solutions for clients and partners
- Demonstrated proficiency in engineering standards, best practices and safety regulations
- Willingness for occasional worldwide travel
- Must be a US citizen or have authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood
