About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You process and manage complex customer orders and ensure compliance with company standards, particularly regarding data quality and contract maintenance.
- You work closely with day-to-day operations to gain a holistic understanding of workflows and identify optimization opportunities.
- You analyze existing order management processes and identify areas for improvement.
- You develop and implement measures to increase efficiency and optimize processes, for example by leveraging systems, data, or automation opportunities.
- You take ownership of process improvement initiatives and actively drive them forward.
- You collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Consulting, IT, and other functions.
- You use data for analysis, derive well-founded recommendations for action, and support data-driven decision-making.
- You develop best practices and contribute to the standardization and transparency of processes.
- You support the professional development of the Order Management team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You have completed commercial vocational training or a university degree.
- You have several years of professional experience in order management, process management, or a comparable field.
- You are operationally confident but also committed to questioning and improving processes.
- Ideally, you have experience in process analysis and optimization.
- You work in a structured way, recognize interdependencies, and independently solve complex issues.
- You handle unclear or changing requirements with confidence.
- Data-driven decision-making and experience with ERP and CRM systems (e.g., SAP) are second nature to you.
- You are interested in topics such as automation, digitization, or AI.
- You demonstrate strong communication skills, assertiveness, and the ability to work in a team.
- You have very good German and good English skills (at least B2).
