About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage the inside sales team to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Develop and execute sales strategies and action plans
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing insights for improvement
- Ensure seamless operation of sales processes and efficient use of CRM tools
- Address escalated customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Train and develop team members to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop lead generation initiatives
- Implement and monitor adherence to sales policies and procedures
- Compile and present sales reports to senior management
- Foster a positive and dynamic team environment that encourages continuous improvement
- Maintain consistent and accurate forecasting of new business
- Ensure ongoing and consistent adherence to Salesforce.com compliance with pipeline management
- Maintain consistent communication with sales leadership
- Attend key customer and industry conferences
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years’ of relevant work experience
- 5+ years working in B2B Sales or Account Management or other equivalent experience
- Experience adapting functional/departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges and objectives
- Experience being accountable for a centralized functional activity
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and manage individual contributor sales representatives
- Demonstrated ability to influence the team to deliver on outcomes
- Prior sales of software/SaaS or other relevant subscription-based product solutions (preferred)
- Prior relevant work experience or working knowledge of the Tax & Accounting industry including familiarity with terminology, principles and practices (preferred)
