Key responsibilities & impact

Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of monitoring and observability engineers
Define and drive an enterprise‑wide strategy for observability
Own implementation and delivery of observability initiatives
Oversee the implementation and modernization of observability platforms and tools
Champion AI‑driven observability and analytics
Define and enforce instrumentation standards
Partner closely with various teams to embed observability
Lead post‑incident reviews and continuous improvement efforts
Deliver data‑driven insights and executive‑level reporting
Evaluate, select, and manage vendor relationships and tool roadmaps
Stay ahead of emerging trends in observability and AIOps

Requirements

What you’ll need

5yr+ Tech/Leadership minimum in role
Proven experience leading technical teams
Experience applying AIOps, machine learning, or advanced analytics
Demonstrated success driving complex initiatives
Strong background working with SRE, incident management, and reliability frameworks
Hands‑on and architectural experience with monitoring and ITSM platforms
Experience in alert tuning, capacity monitoring, and performance analysis
Ability to partner across engineering, operations, and leadership teams
Proven ability to manage large‑scale, multi‑stakeholder initiatives
