- Review and edit new contributions from external expert authors
- Ensure topics address important clinical questions
- Provide evidence-based and actionable recommendations for care
- Monitor the literature for new developments
- Systematically review existing topics for clarity, completeness, and clinical relevance
Requirements
- Medical Degree
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Adult Pulmonary/Critical Care
- Clinical experience in an academic setting after residency
- A valid medical license in at least one U.S. state
- Impeccable communication skills: verbal, writing, and listening
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at different skill levels
- Self-motivated, with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to give and receive feedback effectively
- Interest in critical analysis of the medical literature (skills can be learned on the job)
- Ability to spend 80 to 90% of the work week on editorial work
- Interest in and ability to maintain clinical work (10 to 20%)
