About the role
- Lead planning, resource allocation, budgeting (in partnership with Finance), and end-to-end delivery tracking of strategic initiatives.
- Ensure consistent communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle and drive successful execution across global programs.
- Provide thought leadership and vision to guide global business and IT process owners toward continuous improvement, establishing governance and best practices in program and project management.
- Manage cybersecurity programs and portfolios, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and risk mitigation strategies.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations for WK executives, other senior leaders, and customers.
- Enable adoption of AI within programs and projects and manage development, maintenance, and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Work with IT executives to develop annual PMO plans with corresponding resources, costs, and tactical plans.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to define metrics and reporting for program portfolios; ensure security is top of mind for program initiations.
- Lead a group of GIS Project Managers, manage and coordinate information security projects, and be accountable for successful delivery of GIS programs and project lifecycle execution.
- Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders (GBS, Divisions/BU) and subject matter experts; contribute to application-based security improvements.
- Work with functional leaders to ensure resource availability and allocation; assist in development of business cases.
- Oversee PM onboarding (employees and contractors) and develop solutions to reduce onboarding duration.
- Manage ClickTime data tracking and develop meaningful actionable reports.
- Ensure PMO Demand and Intake has GIS representation; leverage best practices, lessons learned, and emerging trends to develop actionable roadmaps.
- Ensure programs use best practices in Change Management and provide end user training as needed; lead CoE for PMs with focus on adoption of best practices and AI.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with preference in Information Technology, or related field.
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Prior experience in managing PMOs and PM CoEs.
- 10 years-of demonstrated progressive experience in IT Program Management and/or change and transformation management.
- 3+ years’ experience with shared services model, vendor and/or managed services.
- 3+ years management, enterprise-wide transition and/or transformation programs.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and proactive way to managing work; able to deliver with limited oversight and take accountability of actions.
- Excellent presentation skills, both creating slides and delivering presentations to a variety of audiences.
- Senior executive presentation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with lean and agile development processes.
- Executive level written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate and influence.
- Ability to communicate complex problems simply and collaborate across IT and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to get positive results through influence, persuasion, leadership, presentations, training, and group facilitation skills.
- Ability to balance organizational short-term and long-term objectives and maintain continuous improvement mindset.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively; excellent analytical and interpersonal skills; extremely resourceful.
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices; experience seeing projects through full life cycle.
- Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
