About the role
- Handle phone, e-mail, and chat support for moderate to complex system or content issues
- Identify, resolve, and escalate customer issues as necessary
- Record interactions in customer relationship database
- Identify and document resolution to recurring inquiries
- Cross-train on other products and systems
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
- Provide general reports to management as requested
- Participate in product testing and review as required
- Secure and keep confidential product and customer data
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- Associates Degree in a business-related field OR equivalent Customer Service work experience
- 1 year of experience or knowledge in accounting/bookkeeping, financials/reporting, sales/customer relationship management
- 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role
- Educational background in Business, Accounting or Finance
- Experience with CCH tax and accounting software
- Tax preparation or accounting experience
- Experience in a help desk or customer support environment
- Knowledge of tax, accounting principles, and legislation/regulations
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Strong service orientation with commitment to customer needs
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to diffuse customer complaints and resolve issues
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong work ethic and passion for excellence
