About the role

  • Elevate the European Tax and Accounting experience by becoming a pivotal part of the Wolters Kluwer product design team in Hasselt or Mechelen.
  • You'll convert complex business and customer requirements into actionable strategies and turn these into useful and usable strategic deliverable and designs.
  • Communicate complex problems and their solutions in a clear and convincing manner adjusting to your audience.
  • Promote the necessity of user research, discovery, and a lean approach to product development.
  • Collaborate with user researchers to gain insights and translate these into viable solutions.
  • Conduct usability testing to validate the solutions your team has found.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across disciplines and country borders to ensure transparency of your work and create consensus.
  • Drive the efficiency of the design process in your own team and impact the way of working across other European design teams.
  • This position requires some domestic and international travel to meet with customers and stakeholders, up to 10% of your workdays.
  • You are: highly skilled in finding simple design solutions to tricky workflow problems.
  • fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
  • an expert in using common design tools such as Figma.

Requirements

  • Highly skilled in finding simple design solutions to tricky workflow problems.
  • Familiar with a variety of research methods and can promote the right approach for the right context.
  • Experienced in collaborating in cross-functional and international teams.
  • Deeply familiar with concepts like Lean Product, Lean UX, User-Centered Design, Jobs to be Done, etc.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
  • An expert in using common design tools such as Figma.
  • Comfortable with taking initiative in an agile corporate context.
