About the role

  • Work on best-in-class banking platforms used by thousands of banks and credit unions in the US
  • Contribute to development of key product features
  • Interact and communicate with other functional roles and development leads
  • Assist in optimizing code base within your team and across peer development teams
  • Understand and participate in engineering processes for your team
  • Provide production support as the need arises
  • Use CoPilot and AI tools to enhance productivity, quality, and code maintainability

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in professional software development
  • Experience with Java, REST APIs, XML, SQL
  • Experience with work tracking systems such as Jira or Azure DevOps, Git, and experience using cloud services, either from Azure or AWS
  • Unit Testing
  • Agile best practices
  • Fintech or commercial banking (added bonus)
  • DevOps (builds, CI/CD, branch management) (added bonus)
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams (added bonus)
  • Security coding best practices (added bonus)
  • ORM experience (added bonus)
  • Aspect oriented programming (added bonus)
  • Familiarity with the PDF spec and possibly tools to manipulate PDF’s, like iText (added bonus)
  • Experience with, or willingness to learn, C# (added bonus)
