About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for sales growth and profitability of the assigned customer portfolio and for contributing to branch and company objectives
  • Respond to customer inquiries (phone or email), take orders and enter them into the computer system
  • Advise customers and promote our products based on their needs, providing any required technical information
  • Prepare and submit quotes, provide technical support, documentation and any other materials required by customers
  • Adhere to current pricing structures and promotions and collaborate with sales and branch teams
  • Maintain and strengthen strong business relationships with existing customers while developing potential new clients through professional, effective solutions
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and after-sales support
  • Participate in product training as required
  • Be proactive in seeking sustainable, effective solutions to customer issues
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous experience in sales and/or customer service
  • Strong customer-service orientation and ability to build long-term, sales-focused relationships
  • Ability to perform well in a dynamic environment, meet commitments and work independently
  • Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and making effective decisions
  • Excellent communication, time management, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the company’s products and services
  • Bilingualism to communicate with partners across the country (an asset)
