About the role

  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, identify areas for improvement, and design effective technology solutions.
  • Document system functionality, business workflows, and operational requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility analysis for new systems and enhancements to ensure solutions align with business needs.
  • Review and evaluate existing systems to ensure optimal effectiveness and recommend enhancements to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage multiple technology initiatives by developing project plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, internal teams, external consultants, and end users.
  • Oversee intake, prioritization, and evaluation of system enhancement requests from business partners.
  • Translate business requirements into precise technical specifications for development teams using Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with outsourced development teams to refine and support agile delivery methodologies.
  • Perform user acceptance testing, quality assurance, and validation of system enhancements.
  • Provide detailed QA feedback and testing results to development partners and consultants.
  • Support deployment of successful enhancements and ensure smooth transitions into production.
  • Perform data analysis to support operational and business intelligence reporting needs.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using tools such as SSRS and Power BI.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure reporting solutions deliver actionable insights.
  • Support change management efforts by providing subject matter expertise during the development of training materials.
  • Conduct end-user training and provide ongoing system support as needed.
  • Assist business users in adopting new tools and processes to maximize value and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Experience working within agile project management methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and hands-on experience with Azure DevOps.
  • Intermediate SQL knowledge and experience working with data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across business units.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented, deadline-focused, and self-motivated with a commitment to quality.
