About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of centralized dispatch
  • Establish and maintain performance and efficiency metrics and cost management processes
  • Review operational efficiencies, safety, service, and operational improvement opportunities with sales, customers, experience, and operations functions
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Assist in meeting the Area's efficiency goals for all lines of business
  • Develop, implement, and maintain processes, procedures, and programs to improve safety, efficiency, and profitability of sites and the Area overall
  • Maintain and understand Service Machine standards
  • Deliver verbal and written disciplinary action to employees when necessary
  • Conduct employee performance reviews using the standard process and other performance management tools
  • Recruit, select, hire, and ensure training of dispatch employees
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience
  • 3 years of relevant work experience in the waste, environmental services, energy, or transportation industry
  • 2 years of supervisory or management experience (in addition to education requirement)
  • Ability to work in a professional office environment using standard office equipment
  • Must have, or be willing to obtain, a REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative if required to travel by air for business reasons or access federal property
