About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Travel between customer healthcare facilities to proactively monitor, collect, and exchange waste containers for WM Healthcare Solutions programs
- Provide services including Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, and Document Management
- Interact professionally with onsite customer staff to meet or exceed service expectations
- Maintain a rigid collection and service schedule
- Communicate duty status on a defined schedule
- Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- No prior hospital service experience required; training provided
- On-site presence at WM Healthcare Solutions customer locations
- Compliance with mandatory immunization requirements imposed by customers
- Two years of industry-related customer service experience preferred, or equivalent related work experience
- Strong communication skills and tact in providing superior customer service
- Ability to meet physical demands including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, and eye/hand/foot coordination
- Ability to work inside garage, shop, or gas plant conditions and outside in inclement weather, heat, and humidity
- Strict compliance with safety rules and protocols
- Successful completion of applicable drug and alcohol testing
- REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative, or willingness to obtain one if required for air travel or federal-property access
