About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate bulldozers, scrapers, front-end loaders, and other heavy equipment
- Operate heavy equipment in compliance with company safety policies and procedures
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
- Maintain accurate equipment records
- Move and position raw materials and finished components using material-moving equipment
- Follow standard operating procedures for operating and maintaining vehicles
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Work at recycling facilities and waste disposal sites
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Must be over 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations
- Successfully complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Ability to operate bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders
- Ability to follow safety policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures
- Ability to conduct equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
- Ability to work independently and solve problems
- Finger dexterity and motor coordination required most of the workday
- Ability to occasionally handle objects weighing less than 30 pounds
- Ability to work around dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, and similar elements
- Willingness to obtain a REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative if required for business travel or federal property access
