About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct complex analyses of HR and workforce data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights.
  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI, SQL, and Python.
  • Partner with HR stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
  • Deliver data-driven recommendations supporting HR and business objectives.
  • Develop and enhance automated reporting processes.
  • Perform data validation, quality assurance, and troubleshooting to ensure reporting and analytics integrity.
  • Analyze workforce metrics and KPIs related to turnover, retention, employee movement, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support cross-functional projects with analytical expertise, reporting solutions, and decision-support insights.
  • Document reporting processes, business rules, data definitions, and technical procedures.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements, reporting optimization, and enhanced use of HR data and analytics.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must live and work in the U.S.
  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in HR, Business Administration, Analytics, I/O Psychology, or a similar area of study; alternatively, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four years of relevant experience.
  • 5–8 years of analytics, business intelligence, reporting, data management, or a related analytical discipline, including translating business requirements into data-driven solutions, in addition to education requirements.
  • Strong project management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with ownership and execution.
  • Adaptability in a changing business environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and customer-focused support.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of data stewardship, data governance, and data quality principles.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and HR data structures preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR, workforce, or HR analytics concepts preferred.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, or similar analytics and visualization tools preferred.
  • Must have, or be willing to obtain, a REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative if required for air travel or federal property access.
