About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary liaison and trusted advisor between business stakeholders and Technology teams, ensuring business priorities are understood, aligned, and successfully delivered.
- Partner with business leaders to identify, prioritize, and translate strategic objectives into data, analytics, reporting, and technology initiatives that support organizational goals.
- Conduct advanced business and systems analysis to define business needs, process improvements, solution scope, objectives, requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects, Product Owners, Analytics teams, and business stakeholders to define business rules, data requirements, solution designs, and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate prioritization discussions by evaluating business value, risks, dependencies, and strategic alignment to ensure delivery teams focus on the highest-value initiatives.
- Lead requirements gathering, documentation, stakeholder reviews, and testing activities, including development of business requirements, user stories, test plans, user acceptance testing, and sign-offs.
- Provide delivery leadership by coordinating cross-functional business and technical teams to ensure solutions are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and achieve expected business outcomes.
- Monitor project progress, solution effectiveness, and business value realization while proactively identifying risks, issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Partner with Data Governance and business teams to establish data ownership, business definitions, data quality expectations, and governance requirements.
- Support deployment, change management, stakeholder communications, training, and user adoption activities to ensure successful implementation of new capabilities and solutions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or similar area of study or in lieu of degree or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience.
- 8 years of relevant work experience as an IT Business Analyst (in addition to education requirement)
- 4 years of working as an IT Manager/Project Manager may substitute for the minimum years of experience.
