About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Leads the Area’s new business development efforts by directing and supporting SAEs
  • Drives the Area’s growth strategy by reinforcing disciplined prospecting and pipeline development practices
  • Demonstrates outstanding management and customer service skills to motivate team members
  • Establishes and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Supervises activities of the Sales Department and ensures team members meet call activity and acquisition goals
  • Maintains an ongoing training, coaching and mentoring program
  • Works with the Area Sales Manager on price increase strategies
  • Analyzes lost business trends and provides corrective actions
  • Interviews and recruits qualified candidates for open SAE positions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or High School Diploma/GED with five years of business-to-business sales
  • Five years relevant work experience (in addition to the education requirement)
  • Prior experience leading a team of sales professionals
