About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in managing real estate construction projects
- Support the Director of Construction in coordinating project resources
- Coordinate with external partners for project completion
- Review architectural plans and construction documents
- Support the RFP process and management of RFIs
- Manage project financials and identify solutions to variances
- Visit job sites to monitor progress and adherence to plans
- Promote continuous improvement in construction processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction management
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles, policies, and practices
- Experience engaging third-party consultants for various services
- Experience working in a corporate environment
- Strong working knowledge of contracts and general accounting principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of project management software and tools
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management, or similar area of study
- Construction management certifications preferred (CCM or CPC)
