About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead supply chain projects from initiation through completion
- Develop project plans, milestones, and progress to ensure timely delivery of objectives
- Mitigate project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Identify and facilitate area Requests for Proposal (RFPs), manage project budgets, and drive cost reduction initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal customers
- Perform supplier performance reviews, feedback, and issue resolution
- Drive supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain projects and supplier performance
- Collect, analyze, and report data on project outcomes and supplier metrics
- Present findings and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making and process improvements
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned spend categories
- Collaborate with Corporate Strategic Sourcing Managers and Area Procurement Managers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree (accredited) in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field or High School Diploma/GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience
- Five years of relevant work experience
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated expertise in project management, financial analysis, and purchasing
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
- Advanced experience with strategic sourcing, supplier development, and performance measurement
