About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manages existing business relationships by developing and implementing sound retention strategies.
- Utilizes strong negotiation efforts to preserve business, and securing contract agreements from previously non-contracted customers.
- Handles all retention requests, providing ongoing education of contract details to existing customers.
- Obtains customer contract commitments during face-to-face interactions.
- Resolves all escalations for customer service within the book of business.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
- Experience: Two (2) years of relationship management experience in environmental, waste or related service industry (in addition to education requirement).
- Preferred Experience: Prior experience in sales highly preferred.
- Ability to generate reports, general business correspondence, present information and respond to questions for managers, clients and the public.
- Significant knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint with substantial experience with web based interactive systems.
- Demonstrate exceptional presentation skills.
