About the role

  • Prospect and close sales to new customers to achieve budgeted sales goals
  • Develop and implement selling strategies to ensure revenue growth and profitability
  • Manage existing business relationships to achieve sales and price goals
  • Handle customer cancellation requests and retain business through negotiation and education
  • Maintain and grow billable value in assigned accounts by selling new waste streams, services, and products
  • Initiate B2B sales relationships and manage prospects with prospect development plans
  • Maintain sales pipeline and meet sales call activity goals
  • Collaborate with Area Sales Managers, Plant Managers, and Brokerage Account Managers
  • Prepare complex proposals and recommend equipment optimization and leasing options
  • Ensure solutions comply with local, state and federal regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of degree
  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relative work experience
  • 4 years of work experience in direct business-to-business sales, business-to-business cold calling, and phone based business-to-business prospecting resulting in successfully obtaining customer appointments
  • Ability to resolve customer service escalations within defined territory
  • Knowledge of pricing, competition, and internal sales strategies
  • Ability to prepare complex proposals and recommend equipment optimization and leasing options
  • Office work environment and use of standard office equipment
  • May require travel by air and REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative
