About the role
- Assist in managing strategic supply chain projects, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across assigned spend categories.
- Demonstrate a hands-on approach in leading supply chain projects from initiation through completion, including project planning, resource allocation, timeline management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Help mitigate project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Facilitate area Requests for Proposal (RFPs), manage project budgets, and drive cost reduction initiatives.
- Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal customers to support project goals and foster collaboration.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain projects and supplier performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (accredited) in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; or High School Diploma/GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in supply chain project management, procurement, or related roles.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma) or CASCPM desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Demonstratable interpersonal and communication skills
- General knowledge of project management, financial analysis, and purchasing.
- Solid analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with strategic sourcing, supplier development, and performance measurement.
