About the role

  • Responsible for reducing costs of externally purchased materials, goods and services.
  • Assist category management for assigned categories or subcategories.
  • Pull reporting and analyze risks and opportunities to save money.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify new opportunities in the category space.
  • Analyze historical spending patterns for assigned categories.
  • Focus on retail fuel cards and vendor relationships.
  • Develop sourcing strategies based on market analysis.
  • Present sourcing strategy recommendations to leadership.
  • Manage suppliers and ongoing collaboration to improve the supply chain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Business or a technical field, or in lieu of, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant experience.
  • Three (3) years experience in a supply chain related position with category spend responsibility of $10M or greater.
  • Strong Preference for Intermediate Excel Skills and great communication skills.
