About the role
- Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned FinOps functions, guiding team members and stakeholders
- Prepare reports, data summaries, and metrics and provide actionable recommendations to support management decision-making
- Track and resolve issues within the department, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure coordination and closure
- Monitor workflows and processes to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality outcomes; identify bottlenecks and implement solutions
- Contribute expertise to special projects within the department and cross-functional teams
- Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with new and modified processes; recommend and lead improvements with documented workflows and SOPs
- Design, develop, and deliver training; evaluate and enhance materials to align with departmental goals
- Develop and execute testing protocols for new or updated processes and systems; document results and recommend adjustments
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support department and organizational objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Business Administration related or similar area of study OR in lieu of degree, a High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience
- Analytical skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and prepare actionable reports
- Critical thinking skills: Proficiency in resolving complex issues arising from escalations and process challenges
- Process Development: Experience in designing, documenting, and implementing new process workflows, including creating standard operating procedures
- Quality Control & Risk Assessment: Ability to monitor processes for accuracy and quality, identify and monitor risk associated with process change
- Project management: Strong organizational skills to monitor workflow and deliver timely project completion
- Familiarity with relevant tools and systems (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, Power BI, Smartsheet)
- Experience involving data analysis, reconciliation, and process improvement
