About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders
- Operate equipment in compliance with company safety policies and procedures
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
- Maintain accurate equipment records
- Move and position raw materials and finished components using material-moving equipment
- Follow standard operating procedures for operating and maintaining vehicles
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Work at recycling facilities and waste disposal sites serving customers across the USA
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment
- Must be over 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations
- Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Required finger dexterity and motor coordination for most of the workday
- Ability to exert physical effort handling objects under 30 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, or similar elements most of the workday
- Ability to work independently and solve problems
- Must adhere to safety guidelines
