About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and direct all onsite activities at client locations involving storage, transportation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes and related services
- Manage and plan activities of onsite personnel
- Serve as liaison between clients and vendors regarding service issues and contract management
- Maintain established safety and environmental standards
- Coordinate hazardous and non-hazardous waste transportation logistics, including profiling, scheduling, manifesting, and loading bulk and drum loads
- Identify, design, and implement cost-saving opportunities and proposals with clients
- Perform inspections and reporting to ensure compliance with client and government regulations
- Resolve compliance and service issues in a timely manner
- Administer client and vendor financial obligations, including invoicing, reporting, and contracts
- Train site personnel and promote compliance with safety, environmental, federal, state, and local regulations
- Occasionally perform labor-intensive activities such as drum collection and bulking
- Operate in a mix of office and plant/field environments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Environmental Sciences, Accounting, Business or related field, or High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience
- 2 years of relevant work experience in addition to the education requirement
- HAZWOPER Certification upon hire
- RCRA and DOT regulatory compliance experience upon hire
- OSHA 24-Hour Certification upon hire
- Must live and work in the U.S.
- Pre-assignment and/or pre-hire customer-specific drug and/or alcohol testing may be required
- Experience with Streamline preferred
