Key responsibilities & impact

Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders at recycling facilities and waste disposal sites
Operate equipment in compliance with company safety policies and procedures
Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
Maintain accurate equipment records
Move and position raw materials and finished components using material-moving equipment
Follow standard operating procedures for operating and maintaining vehicles
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 years of experience operating heavy equipment
Must be over 18 years of age
Legally eligible to work in the United States
Ability to perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations
Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
Ability to operate bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders
Ability to follow company safety policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures
Ability to conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
Ability to work independently and support colleagues
Required finger dexterity and motor coordination for most of the workday
Required to occasionally handle objects under 30 pounds
Required to rarely face occupational risks such as cuts, burns, and toxic chemicals
Required to work in dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, or similar conditions most of the workday
