About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Service and repair heavy equipment including bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, front-end loaders, yard trucks, farm tractors, forklifts, and company cars
  • Diagnose and repair differentials, hydraulic systems, motors, transmissions, drives, air conditioning systems, and electrical systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance according to site checklists
  • Complete work orders, card files, preventive-maintenance checklists, and oil samples
  • Service and maintain light plants, water pumps, welders, and other equipment
  • Work at waste disposal facilities serving customers across the USA
  • Operate in inside garage, shop, or gas plant conditions and outside conditions including inclement weather, heat, and humidity
  • Follow rigorous cleaning schedules at waste disposal sites

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Over 18 years of age
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Ability to perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing
  • Constant standing, walking, and grasping
  • Ability to work around occupational risks, dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, and similar elements
