About the role

  • Report to the CFO and support strategic decisions for the Vega brand within Wellmore Holdings
  • Lead planning, reporting, forecasting, and analysis efforts across the Vega brand
  • Develop and maintain financial models, synthesizing large datasets across platforms using Adaptive planning
  • Drive annual planning, strategic target setting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Support monthly close by providing P&L reporting, variance analysis, and recommendations
  • Create and refine analytical tools to improve reporting and decision-making
  • Analyze and provide recommendations to optimize trade spend efficiency and maintain profitability analysis by product and customer
  • Model new investment opportunities and perform deep-dive analysis of existing initiatives
  • Build project P&Ls for Stage Gate reviews and support innovation finance with gross margin targets and sensitivity tracking
  • Collaborate with commercial teams on customer planning and profitability and partner with marketing on A&P forecasting, budget reviews, and spend analysis
  • Own forecasting and budgeting models and provide training and guidance to stakeholders
  • Quantify risks and opportunities, highlight variances, and advise on corrective actions
  • Deliver timely financial and analytical support for management decisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred)
  • 7+ years of progressive FP&A experience
  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience
  • Strong experience with trade spend, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and financial modeling
  • Proven expertise in trade promotion analysis, customer planning, and innovation finance
  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) — Excel test required
  • Hands-on experience with ERP, planning, and visualization tools (NetSuite, Adaptive, Tableau preferred)
  • Skilled at working with large datasets and developing multi-platform reports
  • Proactive, independent, and solutions-oriented with the ability to thrive in ambiguity
  • Strong influencing and communication skills — able to partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset
