About the role

  • Own company wide financial planning and forecasting and partner with CEO and leadership team on scenario planning, tradeoffs and prioritization
  • Translate complex financial data into clear and actionable insights for the executive team
  • Lead capital planning, cash management and runway modeling
  • Design and implement scalable financial processes, controls and reporting cadence
  • Improve forecasting accuracy and financial discipline
  • Building budgeting and monthly close rhythm
  • Oversee accounting operations and own relationship with external accounting partners, auditors and tax providers
  • Ensure regulatory compliance
  • Act as a trusted thought partner to the CEO and leadership team
  • Build financial fluency across Wizard

Requirements

  • 8-15+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A or finance leadership roles
  • Experience supporting high growth or scaling companies (startup or scaleup)
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with a strategic lens
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building structure where none exists
  • Experience overseeing accounting functions
  • Prior exposure to fundraising, board reporting and capital strategy
