About the role
- Partner with the regionally-based sales director to develop strong working relationships with account teams
- Serve as the technical leader of the Solutions Engineering team, balancing people leadership and hands-on technical work
- Act as trusted advisor to customers for cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Help customers achieve maximum value from Wiz solutions through technical sales engagements
- Recruit, retain, develop and coach regional SEs and manage Mid-Enterprise accounts in the West region
- Partner with sales and product groups to drive operational excellence and efficiency
- Drive team accountability for deal management in Salesforce
- Collaborate with cross-functional resources at Wiz to support customer success
- Travel 25-50% as required by role
Requirements
- Leadership and management of a team of Solutions Engineers focused on Mid-Enterprise accounts in the West region
- Recruit, retain, develop and coach a team of regionally focused skilled SEs
- Partner with sales and product groups to drive operational excellence and efficiency
- Drive team accountability to deal management in Salesforce
- Ability to travel 25-50%
- Cloud security experience
- AWS/ Azure/ GCP hands on experience
- Network engineering experience / background
- Strong operating system, virtual machine and container knowledge
- Knowledge of risk-based security assessments and frameworks
- Understanding of cloud identity, access, certificates and keys
- Experience with traditional CSPM tools and/or cloud infrastructure security (bonus)
- Technical SaaS selling experience (bonus)
- Awareness of the CI/CD process (bonus)
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (bonus)
