About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead or supervise engagement team staff in planning and executing audit, review, or compilation engagements
- Oversee audit engagement operations, including staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting, and conclusion
- Supervise and support engagement staff, seniors, and supervisors
- Promote open communication with the engagement partner
- Collaborate with seniors, supervisors, and partners on client issue resolution
- Recommend actions for legal, regulatory, and accounting issues arising during audits
- Manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to meet client deadlines
- Create and track engagement budgets and review audit inefficiencies
- Conduct evaluation discussions with team members and provide counsel
- Serve as an instructor or discussion leader in professional development programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA license is required
- At least 5 years of public accounting experience
- Experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff
- Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills
- Familiarity with US GAAP
- Exceptional client service and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects
- Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
