About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead or supervise engagement team staff in planning and executing audit, review, or compilation engagements
Oversee audit engagement operations, including staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting, and conclusion
Supervise and support engagement staff, seniors, and supervisors
Promote open communication with the engagement partner
Collaborate with seniors, supervisors, and partners on client issue resolution
Recommend actions for legal, regulatory, and accounting issues arising during audits
Manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to meet client deadlines
Create and track engagement budgets and review audit inefficiencies
Conduct evaluation discussions with team members and provide counsel
Serve as an instructor or discussion leader in professional development programs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
CPA license is required
At least 5 years of public accounting experience
Experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff
Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills
Familiarity with US GAAP
Exceptional client service and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships
Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects
Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills
Strong attention to detail
Proven innovative problem-solving skills
Ability to travel as needed
