About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review complex gift, estate, and fiduciary income tax returns, including related schedules and forms
  • Review fiduciary accountings for estates and trusts
  • Provide tax planning and consulting for high net worth clients on estate and individual income taxes
  • Research and consult on estate, gift, and trust-related issues
  • Identify additional estate and income tax planning opportunities
  • Oversee client billing and collections
  • Manage, coach, and mentor staff, seniors, and supervisors
  • Research and draft memoranda involving complex tax matters
  • Oversee complete tax research projects for diverse clients and industries
  • Manage multiple engagements concurrently and meet client deadlines
  • Conduct discussions on team member evaluations and provide counsel
  • Serve as an instructor or discussion leader in professional development programs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • CPA License preferred or plan to obtain license
  • At least 4 years of public accounting experience
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects
  • Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
