About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead engagement teams through planning and execution of audit, review, and compilation engagements
  • Oversee day-to-day audit engagement operations, including staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting, and conclusion
  • Supervise and support engagement staff, seniors, and supervisors
  • Promote open communication with the engagement partner
  • Collaborate with seniors, supervisors, and partners on client issue resolution and legal, regulatory, and accounting matters
  • Manage multiple engagements concurrently and meet client deadlines
  • Create and track engagement budgets and identify audit inefficiencies
  • Conduct constructive discussions with team members regarding evaluations and provide counsel
  • Serve as an instructor or discussion leader in professional development programs
  • Build and maintain client relationships while delivering audit and advisory services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • CPA license
  • At least 3 years of public accounting experience
  • Experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff
  • Experience auditing healthcare systems and hospitals preferred but not required
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills
  • Familiarity with US GAAP
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects
  • Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
