About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead engagement teams through planning and execution of audit, review, and compilation engagements
- Oversee staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting, and audit conclusions
- Supervise and support engagement staff, seniors, and supervisors
- Promote open communication with the engagement partner
- Collaborate with seniors, supervisors, and partners to resolve client issues and recommend solutions for legal, regulatory, and accounting matters
- Manage multiple engagements and teams concurrently to meet client deadlines
- Create and track engagement budgets and identify audit inefficiencies
- Conduct constructive evaluation discussions and provide counsel to team members
- Serve as an instructor or discussion leader in professional development programs
- Build and maintain client relationships while delivering audit and advisory services
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA license
- At least 3 years of public accounting experience
- Experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff
- Experience auditing healthcare systems and hospitals preferred but not required
- Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills
- Familiarity with US GAAP
- Exceptional client service and communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain client relationships
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects
- Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
