About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead engagement teams through planning and execution of audit, review, and compilation engagements
Oversee staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting, and engagement conclusions
Supervise and support engagement staff, seniors, and supervisors
Promote open communication with the engagement partner
Collaborate with seniors, supervisors, and partners to resolve client issues and recommend responses to legal, regulatory, and accounting matters
Manage multiple concurrent engagements and teams to meet client deadlines
Create and track engagement budgets and identify audit inefficiencies
Conduct constructive discussions about team-member evaluations and provide counsel
Serve as an instructor or discussion leader in professional development programs
Build and maintain client relationships while delivering client service

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license
At least 3 years of public accounting experience
Experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff
Experience auditing healthcare systems and hospitals preferred but not required
Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills
Familiarity with US GAAP
Exceptional client service and communication skills
Ability to develop and maintain client relationships
Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects
Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills
