About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with analyses related to forensic investigations, business disputes, and economic damage engagements
- Assist in preparing document requests
- Summarize and interpret relevant financial information and records
- Perform forensic accounting and dispute/economic damage analyses, including bank tracing analyses and lost profits analyses
- Work directly with Managers, Senior Managers, Principals, and Partners to analyze financial data
- Attend settlement conferences, hearings, and proceedings as opportunities arise
- Grow toward becoming an expert witness
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting
- Candidate for CPA exam
- Minimum 4 years of experience in public accounting, with at least 2 years in forensic accounting
- Previous experience in litigation engagements is a plus
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Highly motivated with outstanding analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff as part of a team or independently
