About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead engagement teams through audit, review, or compilation planning and execution
- Oversee engagement operations including staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting, and conclusions
- Supervise and support engagement staff and promote communication with managers and partners
- Collaborate with managers and partners to resolve client issues and address legal, regulatory, and accounting matters
- Review scheduled and non-scheduled general ledger accounts for accurate entries
- Manage multiple engagements concurrently and meet client deadlines
- Create and track engagement budgets and identify audit inefficiencies
- Conduct evaluation discussions with team members and provide counsel
- Serve as an instructor or discussion leader in professional development programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Licensed CPA, or working towards CPA certification
- At least 2 years of public accounting experience
- Experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff
- Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills
- Familiarity with US GAAP
- Exceptional client service and communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain client relationships
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills
