About the role
- Uncover exclusive intelligence on new fund launches, innovations, and growth strategies across asset management companies
- Monitor market dynamics, including which firms are attracting assets, and identify those that are underperforming, exiting, or shifting strategies
- Track fund performance trends and analyse how managers are evolving fund structures and terms to attract a broader investor base
- Deliver high-value, actionable insights to investor relations teams to support market understanding, benchmarking, and growth opportunities
- Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts to support ongoing news gathering
- Produce a consistent pipeline of exclusive news stories as part of a fast-paced global real assets news desk
- Attend and cover industry events and conferences, including international travel, to develop sources and deepen sector knowledge
Requirements
- A successful track record of reporting exclusive stories, preferably with at least two years experience in financial journalism
- Must be willing to work out of our London office under a hybrid arrangement
- Journalism degree training preferable
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- An interest in, and some knowledge of, asset management is preferable
