About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Help users discover, adopt, and realize ongoing value from Wistia’s video and webinar platform.
  • Own the strategy and execution of 1:many and 1:few lifecycle programs, primarily through email.
  • Drive product adoption, feature awareness, and cross-sell/purchase readiness across trial and customer audiences.
  • Build and evolve trigger-based, behavior-driven email programs.
  • Mine and analyze the customer database to identify underserved segments, under-engaged users, and untapped lifecycle moments.
  • Develop a customer delight program that rewards customers and turns them into brand advocates.
  • Partner with Content to identify gaps and shape the content roadmap.
  • Integrate lifecycle email with events, webinars, product marketing, launches, and feature releases.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations on HubSpot strategy and architecture.
  • Leverage AI tools to scale email-program sophistication, output, segmentation, and experimentation.
  • Define and track KPIs tied to adoption, engagement, and cross-sell readiness.
  • Translate customer-behavior data into recommendations for broader marketing investments.
  • Collaborate with Content, Growth Marketing, Growth Product, Marketing Operations, and Customer Success.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 9+ years of email and lifecycle marketing experience at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Consistent track record of owning marketing strategy and program outcomes, not just execution.
  • Hands-on individual-contributor orientation.
  • Meaningful, practical experience using AI tools for content generation, segmentation logic, and experimentation.
  • Deep HubSpot expertise, including segmentation, automation workflows, dynamic content, and program-level architecture.
  • Ability to co-own HubSpot with a Marketing Operations partner.
  • Strong cross-functional influencing skills with Content, Events, Webinars, Product Marketing, and Growth Product teams.
  • Ability to build alignment and achieve results without direct authority.
  • Genuine user-advocacy mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills with funnel and engagement data.
  • Experience with adoption- and engagement-focused lifecycle programs.
  • Understanding of using email to build product habits and deepen customer relationships.
  • Experience with PLG or product-led growth motions is a meaningful plus.
