About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive new business development within the energy sector and adjacent industries
  • Identify and close opportunities for software development, IoT, integration, and digital services engagements
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline from initial conversations through to signed agreements
  • Actively prospect and open new accounts (hunter role)
  • Position Wirtek as a long-term services partner rather than a one-off project vendor
  • Engage both technical and business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to shape compelling, feasible solutions
  • Contribute to go-to-market strategy and service positioning
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management and forecasting using HubSpot

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B sales of IT services
  • Proven track record in hunting, opening accounts, and closing deals
  • Experience in the energy, industrial, IoT, or similar environments
  • Strong understanding of software development services, IoT/automation/integration, and data-driven solutions
  • Ability to sell services-based engagements rather than just products
  • Excellent communication skills with both C-level and technical stakeholders
  • Existing network in the energy sector is a strong advantage
  • Experience with structured sales processes and CRM tools (HubSpot)
